Last week was a busy and exciting one for all of us at the studio. Sales of our Morris Lessmore iPad app skyrocketed shortly after publication of this Fast Company review. By Wednesday July 13th, our App sales surpassed Angry Birds, becoming #1 on the iTunes paid app chart. We also achieved #1 status on the Top Grossing chart. The following Thursday evening, the Morris short was the #1 selling film on iTunes.

A few highlights from the multitude of articles published last week:

Steve Jobs may have been dreaming of The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore when he introduced the iPad as a "magical and revolutionary" device.-MacRumors
It is not hard to see how this just might be the future of digital storytelling.-Seattle Post Intelligencer
“…Morris Lessmore” blurs the lines between film, video games, and traditional reading, creating a shared story-telling experience that may represent where ebooks are headed.-Singularity Hub

This post on These Old Colors, a design & art inspiration site, includes our making-of Morris videos and photos. We're always excited about inspiring creativity, and we think this site is pretty cool.
