Brandon Oldenburg at 5D Institute's The City and the Book

If you're in Los Angeles tomorrow, stop by the USC School of Cinematic Arts for the 5D Institute's conference The City and the Book. Brandon's panel, Hybrid Spaces For the New Narrative, is tomorrow evening with designers, scientists, artists, creators and educators such as:
  • Amy Murphy, Associate Professor, Vice-Dean USC School of Architecture
  • Kevin Slavin, transmedia designer and one of the most popular TED speakers
  • Tawny Schlieski, research scientist and media expert in Intel Lab’s Interaction & Experience Research group
  • Tracy Fullerton, Emmy-nominated interactive game designer, director of the Electronic Arts Game Innovation Lab
The panel will discuss the question "as information is liberated from concrete and paper how does new data and content transform the material from which it came?"

The conference is a two-evening transmedia design summit on September 20th and 21st, 2012, at USC School of Cinematic Arts, 7pm to 10pm, followed by a reception on both evenings. Learn more at the 5D Institute website.
